1,600 Black-tailed Godwit and 92 Knot (site record and exceptional count for an inland site) - Gilroy Nature Park, West Kirby.

4 Great White Egret and c.300 little egrets flew out of roost after first light, 1 Spotted Crake, 1 Cetti’s Warbler, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 2 Marsh Harrier, 1 Jack Snipe, 1 Merlin,  60+ Redwing, 1 Green Sandpiper and  1 Greenshank - Burton Mere Wetlands, 600 Pink-footed Geese came into roost.

500+ Great Crested Grebe between Red Rocks and Dove Point at high tide, excellent visibilty but just too much of a sea running for accurate count.
30 Redwing and 2 Sparrowhawk - Caldy Hill.
1,640 Black-tailed Godwit, 20 Lapwing, 4 Snipe and 3 Shoveler - Gilroy Nature Park, West Kirby.

1 Great White Egret (ID confirmed) on groyne until tide came in, also 1 Kingfisher there seen to catch four sand eels, 14+ Golden Plover on sand bank before tide came in, 2 Grey Wagtail in paddocks and another by bridge along Lingham Lane - Leasowe Lighthouse, also report of 1 Great White Egret on groyne until tide came in.

1 Slavonian Grebe off south end, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler trapped and ringed - Hilbre.
1 Spotted Crake showed briefly at least three times, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper and 4 Little Stint - Burton Mere Wetlands.
200+ Common Scoter, 2 Peregrine (adults) and 3 Mediterranean Gull (2 ads, 1 2nd win) - Hoylake Shore.
1 Great White Egret - Burton Point.
1 Short-eared Owl seen mobbing a Marsh Harrier - Denhall Quay.
11 Golden Plover flew in from the sea and flew inland - Leasowe Lighthouse.

1 Great White Egret, 2 Marsh Harrier, 1 Peregrine, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 Little Stint, 2 Cetti’s Warbler and 2 Water Rai, c1,000 Pink-footed Geese flew in to roost this evening - Burton Mere Wetlands, also a probable Spotted Crake heard calling.

1 Spotted Flycatcher by west kissing gate and 2 Raven over - Leasowe Lighthouse, no sign of Red-backed Shrike.

2 Kingfisher, 5 Spotted Flycatcher (3 juvs), 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Wheatear, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Peregrine, 1 Tawny Owl and 2 Marsh Harrier (juv) - Burton Mere Wetlands, 3 Great White Egret came into roost.

Report from Shotton Lagoons Reserve: mixed flocks moving through included a Garden Warbler, with 8 Green Sandpiper, 6 Common Sandpiper, 160 Lapwing, 2 Snipe, 1 White Wagtail, and 1 Spotted Redshank (Juv, unusual for here ), all on Rocky Pool. Also, 1000 Starling, and 500 Jackdaw, at on site roost.
