4,000 Knot roosting at first light but spooked by a Peregrine and flew towards Formby, 400 Shelduck on the shore - Meols.
9000 Dunlin, 4000 Knot, and 800 Grey Pover over high tide - West Kirby Shore..
c900 Cormorant on ebbing tide - East Hoyle Bank, Hoylake.
1 Barn Owl, 1 Short-eared Owl, 1 Merlin, 17+ Marsh Harrier and 5 Great White Egret - Neston Reed Bed.

1 Black Redstart (male) in sea-front garden near Lifeboat Station - Hoylake.
1 grey male Hen Harrier (seen this morning and again going to roost this evening), also 1 Barn Owl, 10 Marsh Harrier, 1 Short-eared Owl and 1 Merlin, ! Tawny Owl calling rear of Old Baths car park, this evening - Parkgate.
15,000 Dunlin at high tide - West Kirby Shore.
1 Woocock flushed from chuch grounds - Lower Heswall.

1700 Shelduck, 700 Pintail, 4000 Oystercatcher, 208 Golden Plover, 750 Lapwing, 3000 Dunlin, 5000 Knot, 630 Curlew, 850 Redshank, 6 Greenshank at high tide this morning - Heswall Shore.

1 Glossy Ibis on main scrape - Burton Mere Wetlands.

NOTE - Possible 'Siberian' Lesser Whitethroats recorded at both Leasowe and Burton Mere Wetlands today.

24 Whooper Swan, 5 Cattle Egret, 25 Ruff, 1 Great White Egret, 5 Marsh Harrier, 2,000+ Lapwing and 3,400 Starling (moving south) - Burton Marsh.
1 Short-eared Owl over marsh at 4pm - Old Baths, Parkgate.

1 Siberian Chiffchaff by eastern kissing gate, also 1 Yellow-browed Warbler - Leasowe Lighthouse.
1 Glossy Ibis on flood west of rifle range - Burton Marsh.

1 Water Rail, 36 Snipe, 4 Jack Snipe, 3 Rock Pipit, 1pair Stonechat at bottom of Banks Road over high tide - Heswall Marsh.
1 Lapland Bunting (male) briefly feeding with Linnets on marsh, also 2,500 Knoy, 2,000 Dunlin, 200 Sanderling, 150 Grey Plover, 200 Redshank, 50 Bar-tailed Godwits and 2,000 Oystercatcher over high tide - Hoylake.
1 Firecrest in Bird Obs garden - Hilbre.
1 Lapland bunting and 1 Snow Bunting - Gronant.

1 Swallow over the shore, 1 Long-tailed Duck on the sea at high tide - Hoylake.
1 Short-eared Owl, 2 Marsh Harrier, 260 Brent Geese, 3000 Shelduck, 700 Pintail, 300 Wigeon, 8 Red-breasted Merganser, 5 Great Egret, 93 Little Egret, 14 Common Snipe, 175 Skylark, 1000 Starling over high tide - Riverbank Road, Heswall.
1 Scaup (fem) - Shotwick Boating Lake.
