The
blue marker on the map below shows the location of RSPB Burton Mere
Wetlands. It can be accessed from the road running between Burton and
Puddington (Puddington Lane), the track to the reserve is 100 yards beyond
Bishop Wilson Primary School coming from the Burton direction. At the end of the track there is a car
park and a Reception Hide which is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm. Both
Burton and Puddington are signposted from the A540 Heswall to Chester
road, on the dual carriageway which runs north-west from the Two Mills
cross roads.
